Brian is the Managing Partner of West Monroe Capital. Brian has led a fruitful career in private equity, business management, and performance improvement, spanning industries from technology to consumer and retail. He is passionate about finding opportunities to stimulate business growth and steadily increase value. When not working, Brian spends his time away from work chasing his four young children and is quickly adding experienced youth sports coach to his résumé.
Prior to joining West Monroe Capital, Brian was a longtime private equity client of West Monroe while serving as Managing Partner of Grand Crossing Capital LLC, a family-backed private equity firm, and as a Partner at TowerBrook Capital Partners LP. Earlier in his career, Brian was co-founder and CEO of CombineNet, Inc., a sourcing and supply chain software company (sold to SciQuest) and CFO & Director of Retail Operations of Truefitt & Hill, an upscale men’s shaving and grooming products company. Brian began his career at Goldman Sachs and Madison Dearborn Partners.
Brian makes an impact by staying on as a trusted advisor to many organizations and has been, or continues to be, involved in numerous consumer and business services brands. Brian has a B.S. from the University of Illinois and an MBA from Harvard Business School.

Chris is Vice President of West Monroe Capital. With a lifelong passion for finance, Chris has spent his career understanding, managing, and optimizing complex investments. He is also a father to two young boys and enjoys playing soccer with them during the Chicago summers.
Prior to joining West Monroe Capital in 2017, Chris invested in private equity strategies on behalf of endowment and pension clients as a member of Aon Hewitt’s Outsourced Chief Investment Officer group. At Aon Hewitt, Chris also led an initiative to build a fund of funds platform, which allowed the firm to better serve small and medium-sized clients. Earlier in his career, Chris spent eight years at Guggenheim Partners co-investing in private equity and other alternative asset strategies on behalf of two large family office clients. Chris began his career at LaSalle Bank.
Chris makes an impact at West Monroe Capital by finding opportunities where our additional investment and expertise can drive value—strengthening relationships with our private equity clients and the sector. Chris has a B.A. in Economics from the University of Wisconsin and an MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business.
